Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of a custom iBook. I've seen the Mini Ti, but i'm looking more along the lines of a flower power iBook. ...my girlfriend is asking. Thanks.

it is REAL easy to accomplish...

#1) use 99% Isypropyl alcohol to remove ALL the white paint from the shell of the iBook. (the paint is on the inside of the shell) NOTE: Make sure to remove the white bracket from the screen shell... it runs around the outer border and can be popped off with an X-acto knife.

#2) Find some heavy plastic that is inkjet printable (yes it exists) print whatever pattern you so desire on it. place inside the shells and heat with a hair dryertill it forms to the curves of the shell.

There are some pics floating around the net somewhere but I lost my bookmarks.

So after surfing the web, I found a few creative individuals who have customized their iBooks.

It's interesting to see that the first person chose to paint the outside of the shell. I was wondering if anyone know's if there are any drawbacks to painting the inside of the shell. It would seem more logical to prevent paint scratches.

... the more I read about the iBook, the more I want one for myself. I think glossy black (painted from within the shell) would look killer.
