Sorry but I can't read it. Does it use household wiring as the network? That's the impression I got. I currently send iTunes audio over the household wiring to a workshop out back using the defunct ezAudio system by Elcom. It would be great if someone offered a digital way of doing this.

    Homeplug is Ethernet over Powerlines.

The Audio plug device from Devolo is pretty awsome.

Wonder if there is any lag. Surely ADSL can't run at max speed when data is being transferred through ol' *copper* household electrical wiring?

Many houses are wired with at least CAT3 cable which is fine for audio applications. CAT5 supports up to 100Mbps so CAT3 should be fine for basic needs.

But many more have a "no more wires" aproach... thus

Homeplug (14 Mbps) and Homeplug AV (200Mbps)
