Max Memory for 12" iBook G4 800MHz
Greetings All!
Can anyone tell me what the actual max amount of memory is that you can install in the 12" iBook 800MHz G4? Apple's site says 640MB as does Crucial's, but Kingston's site says 1.12GB (as do a few other sites). The iBook comes with 256MB (128MB non-removable)and 128MB in it's memory slot. I'm looking at adding more memory. I don't want to order the 1GB module if it's not going to work. I can probably live with just an extra 512MB. Can anyone sort this out for me?
