10.1.5 to Panther firmware problems

Hello,



I am running 10.1.5 on my iMac. I purchased Panther and tried to install it. However, it said that I needed to update my firmware before "essentials" could be installed. Is there a simple solution to this? I've read that this update can happen without problems - I don't want to have to buy Jaguar just so I can get Panther running. Help?

    Does it say anything else? You can head over to Apple's site and search for firmware updates for your computer. They are just downloads, no need to buy Jag for that.
