PowerLogix released a 7410 based G4 zif (running at a stunning 550Mhz!!!!!!!) upgrade for $300 US

Yes, but i am a little disapointed : i expected they sale it for 550 $ (one dollar per mhz)

the upgrade companies have to look in apple's dumpster for the processors, thats why they are so slow and so expensive.

sonnet will be coming out with a 600Mhz Harmoni for the first generation iMacs in a few months.

256k L2 cache (full proc. speed)
1 Firewire port
not to shabby. but ill keep my 433mhz G4, 1MB L2 Cache

Yeah, but I'm sure they are faster than those $230 Athlon XP 2100+ processors right?
