Safari and Autofill

Although I appreciate and use autofill for filling out forms, Safari continues to autofill with an old e-mail address even though I changed e-mails 4-5 mos ago. How do I edit the autofill defaults for filling out forms. My own e-mail doesn't appear in the safari pref/autofill panes

    Did you change your Address Book card (assuming you use that and not Entourage)? I think if you have a "Me" card in Address Book it defaults to that as the source.

    I don't have a me in the address book. The bad e-mail only seems to show up when filling out on-line forms - as in when buying something over the internet.

    I think what VanDeWaals was trying to say is have you updated 'your' card in the address book?



    Open address book and under the card menu there is an option to show my card. Is this information correct on your card?



    The above is for Jag so it might have changed for Panther.

    Make sure in Safari Preferences that under Autofill "Using info from my address card" is selected. If it is and your card is totally up to date, you should be fine.
