typing in another language in M$ word

hello, well I wanted to know if it was possible to type in another language on Office vX. I want to type mandarin chinese but can't seem to find a world keyboard in word. Is this possible or am I going in the wrong direction?

    keyboard switching is an OS feature. Open "International" in System Preferences and click Input Menu tab. Add the languages you want and click the "Show input menu in menu bar" button. Launch WORD and select the language you want to use from the menu bar.
