    I don´t this "18th cousin, eight removed" stuff. Is the cousin of my cousin my second cousin? And is "removed" a shift in generations?

    no removed is marriage relationships. and a second cousin is generally referred to as the child of your cousin or some such. a cousin of a cousin that isnt a direct relationship is a removal. its a stupid system. the only thing meaningful is that W's father was a president.
