This is terrible, though it really happened years ago. Sad commentary on the state of the web.

    I've been recommending Webmonkey to my web design students for years.



    many (including myself) will be sad to see it go.



    somebody turn off the "Geek switch" before they leave.

    sadder still, I've been using it to learn some PHP even though a lot of links were dead....I loved WebMonkey.

    Yeah webmonkey got me started on PHP to way back in the day.



    Anyways, anyone interested in learning PHP now should check out codewalkers.com



    If your going for HTML/javascript/xhtml/CSS/or others hit up w3schools.com

    Since this is more tech and web design oriented, I'm moving this thread to General Discussion.



    *sigh*



    Sad to see the webmonkey gone. I too have read several tutorials there in brushing up on my languages.
