just wondering if everyone here is using the APPLE DVD-R ?

i can't seem to buy this from my local stores. Any other good brands to recommend that can work in most DVD players like PS2 or Xbox?

intending to make some DVD movies off my DV tapes

I've used about 10 of the Apple DVD-Rs so far and so far no problems. <a href="http://www.cd-recordable.com"; target="_blank">cd-recordable CD-Rs have a good track record but I haven't had time to test their DVDs yet.

Just make sure the DVD-R blanks are labeled "For General Use". I got to laugh at my employer as they tried to return 50 discs they bought that don't work because the got the "For Authoring" discs.

Pioneer brand DVD-RWs work in my poopy Sharp DVD player, so I bet they'll play in just about anything else...
