ARRRRGGGHHH....

Sorry, is anyone else getting that Flash banner ad with the voiceover?

Groan?and of course it's a PC ad.

Oh well, I assume management has no control.

Anyone else almost have a heart attack when it speaks? Headphones or big speakers, it always gets me since I usually browse while blasting music via the Mac.

Yeah I agree, this should probably be in suggestions but it sucks. This is the worst banner to date!

I can put up with flashy and ugly stuff but when we are bringing in sound?!

i have had to mute my speakers for the time being. every page load "hi there. my name is tina!" and the company who she's shilling for looks so dodgy it's awful.

does ANYone ever buy from these ads? are they the same people who buy from the home shopping network and infomercials?

Yep, there's a thread about ads in the Suggestions forum.

Basically we bend over and take it up the ass in regards to ads, it seems.
