Supported 3rd party DVD burner

I'm putting a DVD Burner into a Quicksilver. Does the Pioneer DVR-106 work with iDVD and DVD Studio Pro 1 and 2? I'm just lazy to find out through a bunch of support pages, so I figure I'd try my loyal companions here at AI. Thanks everyone.

    Yes the drive is supported (OS X 10.28 and up)



    iDVD only supports this drive when it's installed internally



    DVD SP 2 will support this drive no matter it's extrenal or internal



    AFAIK DVD SP 1.5 or older only can support up to A-105 but I am not too sure.....no one is gonna use old versions anyway

    Almost the same question... Is the newer Pioneer DVR-107 supported?

    DVD SP will support any DVD burner, internal or external, as long as the burner itself is recognized by the OS.
