iPod and iSight don't play nice with each other?
After an hour of trouble shooting, switching off the power for my MAC a couple of times, I found the solution to my iPod update problem.
Problem:
iPod won't update properly. Update speed is very slow. iTunes stops responding. Single song update doesn't work either. Sometimes, the entire GUI freezes on you when trying to force quit.
Solution:
Unplug iSight. Bang head against wall for wasting time.
Other attempted solutions:
Restore iPod with 2.1 software update. Doesn't help. Run disk utility a zillion times on iPod and on the machine's hard disk. Doesn't help.
Does anyone else have this problem? I sent feedback to Apple. The only software that I installed recently was the Palm Desktop.
