Will iMic work in Playstation2?

I need a USB microphone for my Playstation 2, and I believe any old USB mic should plug into it. However, I already own a good non-USB microphone, and was wondering if I could buy an iMic instead to use with my existing mic and plug in into the Playstation 2's USB port. Anyone tried it?
