Cheapest place for 15gig (or bigger) Ipod

Im looking for anywhere that I could possibly get the 15gig ipod a little cheaper, right now Im useing an 20gig Archos Jukebox, but the battery life is only 5 hours or less, and it weighs almost 2x as much, the only thing I see really good about it is it can take quite a beating and still play. But I want to get an ipod due to weight, size, and button noise, my archos clicks, ipod is all touch buttons so no noise. thx for any help

    Can you sell your current player on eBay? If so, you could use that money to help lessen the cost of the ipod.



    Try and find a student/teacher to buy it for you. They qualify for the educational discount. If you're a student, then you can get the discount yourself.

    how can I get the student discount (I am in highschool at the moment) can it be got from the apple online store? Im going to try and keep this other player as a backup

    i decided against ipod and got the rio karma. but thx for the quick suggestions anyways, the student thing did work, everything was atleast 30 bux cheaper

    Go into detail please. I chose the rio because it supports a format of music I often get, ogg vorbis. It was only 300 for a 20gig unit. Ive read that some ppl have had HDD probs, so thats why I got the 2 year extended warentee from circuit city. I know ipods are all good and stuff (expically since im on an apple forum) but I got this. If anyone wants to go fully into the error of my ways, I would want to hear them, since Im all into learning from stuff (im not trying to sound cocky or anything, I like to argue and stuff, so I wanna see the ipod side of it )



    also i was afraid if i got an ipod, all my skin and clothing would turn black, and i would start getting my groove on
