    Panel shortage set to ease...

    iMac prices set to drop???

If they don't then you'll know that the price hike was nothing more than a PR pretext for a money grab. I'm almost surprised they didn't somehow tie in 9/11, almost every other company hocking just about anything on the open market tried to blame their performance on Sept 11. Maybe Steve is a classy guy afterall.

According to Fred Anderson at the recent analyt meeting prices have stabilized on LCD screens. However, they are still higher then they were at the beginning of the year. The WSJ has a rep for getting stories out with dated info and this one is such an ocassion. Nevertheless, don't look for dramatic drops until years end or until next year. Capacity still remains below need. The amount of paranoia on these boards is amazing. Look, the sky is falling!!!
