Cool iPod Hack Needed

Not here, but ...



The new Belkin mic adaptor can record 8KHz 16bit audio.



Anyone know if that's a limitation of the iPod or the adaptor? 44.1KHz would be ... usable.

    its the limit defined by the ipod OS i believe



    but i did read somewhere its a cap, which could be lifted it apple decided...

    the hardware in the ipod is the limiting factor. its impossible to make it record at a higher quality \

    maybe 4g ipods....

    I want PROOF dagnabbit!



    iDvD --> DVD Studio Pro

    iMovie --> Final Cut Pro

    iMac --> PowerMac

    iPod --> PowerPod? iPod Pro?



    I'd go for the pro-audio iPod anyday.
