Need help mining a statistic out of the web!

I need the average number of IT professionals (or technicians) per number of employees in the US.

You can extrapolate from that to diversify your search terms. First person back with a decent reference (professional and citable) wins $1.00 payable via paypal to your email address.

Remember, I am after how many IT techs do we need to support x number of employees.

If you find a cool chart or graph (also from a decent source) then I'll throw in another $1.00

I have a company of roughly 500 people and they need to know how many IT support staff they should have according to either 'national averages' or 'international IT standards'.

On your mark, get set, GO!

Hum.. I have been trying for over 2 hours. I'm just not a Google head (and apparantly neither are you). But for a nice bored mac geek sitting around the AI boards it might give them something to do and get rewarded for. Besides, there is actually $2 up for grabs.

You don't have to play if you don't want to.
