Airport extreme card install question

Posted:
in General Discussion edited January 2014
I just installed a new airport extreme card in my new Powermac G5. After reading the instructions, I was surprised to find 2 wires inside the G5. I connected the small co-ax wire to the airport card and it seems to be working and visible in the system.

What is the other small wire for? It was in the same clip as the coax wire, yet I can't find a use for it.

Thanks for the help

Len

Did you look at the documentation that came with the machine?

I'm fairly sure its for bluetooth, which is not user installable and, thus, is not documented.

I checked all documentation carefully, nothing there. Thats why I posted here.

I have since found out that it is a bluetooth connection.

    Thanks
