I have a lot of older computer stuff i wanna part with, so i turned, for the first time, to ebay, to accept payments, i an now signing up for paypal and that brings up my question;

one of the offers at paypal signup is a Premier Account, do i need this for credit cards? and other than the 3% + 30cent charge, is there any other fees? like a subscribtion or anything?

I am a techy, but I have yet to sell on ebay because i am only 18 and till now had nothing to sell

    Paypal works pretty good if you don't mind the 3% you mention... you'll need a few days to get "verified" however. That's where they deposit and withdraw a tiny amount from the account you give them.

    Keep in mind you'll also pay ebay fees on top of that..

    I'm pretty sure you have to have a Premier account to accept credit card payments. Outside of the standard commission (whatever percentage + flat fee that you mentioned), there's no fees unless you want some service like a check mailed to you instead of a direct deposit into a checking account to withdraw funds.
