setting up wireless internet and network

intend to set up the wireless thing as above,would like some users comments on this wireless thing....



I ve a PC, an iMac and would get the airport base and card, what else do i need?



do I need extra software in order for the PC or iMac to exchange data in the network?

    Under OS X, the iMac will be able to connect to a Windows machine using SMB Windows File Sharing. Not sure about the other way around...

    Is the PC a desktop or a laptop? If it is a desktop, you need a wireless card for it. I suggest <a href="http://linksys.com/Products/product.asp?grid=22&prid=196"; target="_blank">Linksys WMP11</a>, because the drivers that come with are better than those that come with the laptop cards, and include a "Site Survey" option that can find AirPort networks more easily.



    Otherwise, you could just plug an ethernet cable into your PCs NIC, and to the LAN port of the AirPort Base Station.
