    Unhappy news to be sure, but it's not really a surprise now, is it? The performance gap is looking like the Grand Canyon, and no amount of Applespin can change that fact.

    I wish Motorola wouldn't fire all the good people. We need faster Mac processors!



    Of course, Apple could remedy the situation somewhat by making ALL the other components friggin MODERN! Like a modern frontside bus speed. Higher-clocking RAM. And an agreement with NVidia to have the HIGHEST QUALITY video card for any personal computer available in EVERY SINGLE $3500 POWER MAC MADE!

    They could better the rest of the parts ie the bus providing the g4 supported higher...
