In case anyone missed it, you can find it here.

Macromedia advertises a 70% speed boost in OS X and the return of the Timeline feature (not that I, a neophyte user appreciates that). Seems to be snappier than before.

I am going to download it now. I have major issues with Dreamweaver's speed. Its just sad now. I only use it because its still easier to deal with large complicated tables in dreamweaver with a graphical view as a reference than doing it in straight code.

the speed up seems quite noticeable, even on my dual 2.

Snappier perhaps, but about as stable as AOL 4 running on System 7.5

any speed improvements would be welcome.

hey, is it just me, or is this the fastest macromedia's ever come out with updates for several of their newly-released pieces of software? seems like for a while, they would stare stone-faced as people would say "please release a .1 updater that makes it stop crashing!" they'd do the bug-fixes, but roll them into the next paid release.

i guess the complaints and bad press finally got to them this time.
