Warranty Transfer

How do you transfer warranties? I'm trying to get my Powerbook off eBay, however when I get it I would like to transfer the warranty to myself. How is this done?

    Owner calls them, and they are told to fax the warranty in and they "should" call you, Apple that is, when the transfer is received and completed.
