Syncing the Clie UX50 without "Missing Sync"?

I am thinking of getting the Sony Clie PEG UX50. I'm not interested in mounting the memory stick on the desktop nor to transfer pictures from iPhoto to the UX50. I just want to synchronize iCal and AdressBook.

Is there a need for "Missing Sync"?

Can iSync do these "basic syncing" without the software from Mark/Space?
