2 quick questions for Griffin iCurve owners...

1. Does an AirPort Extreme Base Station fit in the circular area between the curved base (in other words, sitting below a PowerBook perched on top)?



2. Are these things stable, particularly in the "stuff slipping off and falling" arena? It comes with little non-slip pads built into the arms, right? Do those grip the bottom of the laptop securely? Once you place your laptop there, it's held on pretty good?

    Btw, I wouldn't put the base station so close to you and the computer. Apple says you should be at least 20 cm (7 inch) away from it, for health reasons. If 20 cm is the minimum range where Apple thinks you should keep away, I'd make it more than that. (Though I can't find that KBase article anymore)



    I know, it would definitely look cool, but I think this might be something to consider.

    I'll be a good 20-30" from it, depending on how I'm sitting, how far I pull the keyboard shelf out, etc.
