Read it earlier today. Who woulda thought it was done on a Henry? Sheesh. I figured those things were extinct by now.

The pretty girl dancing in the pic in the article, pre roto-scoping.

What do you mean "which girl"? There's only one in the article.

Edit: hey, you're right. The pics are gone!

It was that girl with the curly hair and muscular, curvy bod. There was a pic of her in front of a green screen, dancing and looking cute. Then below it was the version that appeared after the roto-scoping and all: her black silhouette on a green background and the iPod emphasized and stark white.

And they had a pic from one of the "rockin' dudes" from the Jets commercial, pre- and post-rotoscoping.

Both of those interesting pics seem to be gone now.

I have the pics in my cache, and the links appear to work still:

    one , two , three , four

Maybe Apple Legal didn't want 'behind the scenes' pics to be shown?

I wonder if their earphones/buds (whatever) stayed in properly while they were dancing? Mine don't have a very good fit. I have to fiddle with them more than a few times on the walk to Uni.

That article made it sound like he pretty much manually re-drew the iPod wires (for greater control of placement and better appearance), so maybe he did the earbuds too?.

I didn't understand much of the interview (the lingo and video/animation-specific talk), but it was still interesting.

The latest kit from Quantel is pretty sexy. I was working on an EditBox Platinum some years ago, and it was quite yummy. I took a spin on a Henry V8 at NAB not too long ago and I liked it. Just wish I could afford it.

Of course, if it were up to me, I'd do all my work on discreet kit.

they might have taken them down for residual reasons. since none of the people in the spots are recognizable they might have been cast as extra or under some different rate than principals. talent representatives can be VERY sensitive about those things.

I used to work with Alex. We worked on a Mick Jagger video awhile ago.

Alex is one of the best Henry artists around.

Good to see that he is still working his stuff.
