Activity Monitor won't run

for the past couple months, my Activity Monitor just won't run... it'll bounce in the dock a couple times and then quit, with no crash error. i tried deleting the prefs... no change. i keep hoping an OS X update will fix it, but, nothing yet...

any idea what's wrong? could the .app just be corrupt? i've yet to see this happen with any other programs.

unless anyone has any better ideas, could someone IM me a copy of Activity Monitor? AIM name: stumpiejoe

thanks

edit: sorry, just fixed prefs.. solved it.. i could've sworn i had tried that already though.. maybe 10.3.3 did help.

Try deleting all your caches (home/library/caches) trash everything in the folder (not the folder itself though.) Also try repairing your permissions. Go into Applications/utilities/terminal and type:

    Code:

    diskutil repairpermissions /

If that doesn't work, your app may be corupt and you can extract it from your OS X install disk using a program called Pacifst.
