What does everyone think of Micromat Tech Tool 4? Would you recommend using this utility program?

I think it is great. But you have to have at least 4GB free (I say 6-8 mininum) to use the eDrive. Otherwise you get an file allocation overlap and should reformat your drive.

Other than that is has worked great.

I would sure. Been using Drive 10 for a while now and upgrading to TTP4 was cheap. Haven't tried the eDrive option yet. Heard some people with horror stories about Drive 10 (which I assume, is the same code used in TTP4) but I've never had any problems.

The tools don't work well with drives connected via 3rd-party controllers (ATA, SATA) but neither can any other app (Granite Digital, Alsoft).
