How do I do that exactly? I put in my panther discs and it says I can't because I have a newer version of OS X installed. Any advice?

When you get to the Select Volume For Installaton screen, click the Options button at the lower part of the screen.

In the Options screen, select Archive and Install, and make sure that Preserve Users & Settings box is checked.

Is this because I have the panther upgrade discs? Or is that just how the install is?
