Any David Bowie fans? A little help?

Was there a recent album (as in within a few years ago) where DB did some remixes of some of his classics. I heard these 2 songs redone with a more edgy, NIN/Marilyn Manson style. Specifically, it was "Fame" and "I'm Afraid of Americans". Are these on a specific album? Where can I get these tracks?

Bowie remixed four versions of "I'm Afraid of Americans" with Trent Reznor.

He also released an album called Club Bowie that had several remixes on it, but I've never heard the Fame remix.

    Good tip! I'll check'em out!

So this collaboration between DB and Trent Reznor happened around 1997? Any idea if the 4 "I'm Afraid of Americans" remixes ended up on a particular album? I'm curious if any other work came out of DB and TR working together?

I think I saw a track named "I'm Afraid of Americans V1" on 2 different CD's in the store. I have no idea if V1 is what I'm looking for if there are potentially 4 remixes.

Yup. I caught the NIN/Bowie concert in Raleigh from the mosh pit in spring '96. NIN played, Bowie came out and they did several duets, often singing each other's songs, Bowie's band transitioned in while NIN transitioned out, and Reznor played backup for Bowie for most of his set, then they collaborated again for the end and encores. Twas good.

And my SO at the time found out that being in said mosh pit in a silk slip and combat boots wasn't the best combo. At least the boots stayed on.
