Many highlevel sportman have a fascination for drug addictions. I have heard many testimony of specialists who emphasis on this point. I don't know where it come from, or if it's related to the fact that practicing sport induce production of endorphines, wich is inself a (good) addiction. But this natural and benefical addiction could not be enough for some people, who decided that illegal drugs addiction is much better.
An ex-french professional cyclist explained some days ago, how he suceed to take illegal drugs while he was a professional, and how he managed to be never been caught.
This story are bad for cycling, and more generally for sports (for example i am nearly sure that Tennis is as dirty as cycling).

Gaumont's comments recently should help WADA and the UCI structure the doping controls, so I guess that's a good thing.
I guess Pantani's cocaine use could have had something to do with his terrible depressions?

It will be a good thing if philippe Gaumont comments could help the doping control.
Some others sports should do the same. I have heard that they do not do anything against Rudetzski althought he was controlled positive. Nathalie Tauziat an ex top ten woman tennis player revealed that one day, the doctor phoned her, and told her that she will be controlled the next day. This control was supposed to be unexpected ...
For the cocaine thing and the depression : perhaps.
