Video issues with G3 imac

I have a G3 350 imac (slot loading) that is having some video issues.

When I start it up I can see very thin red lines going horizontally across the screen.

The computer is still usable, but these lines are very annoying.

Anyone have any idea what the issue might be and which part I need to find to fix this.

You'll have the undying love of my 4 year old daughter if you can help me fix this. She says that the lines get in the way of her Strawberry Shortcake game

Sounds like it's a problem with the monitor .... specifically, the controller for the electron gun. (part of the tv-tube)

Not really repairable in your living room.

A repair shop would be able to diagnose this and fix it by either replacing a the CRT or replacing a circuit card.

In either case, you'd be rapidly approaching the cost of a new G4 eMac.... if the lines get too annoying, it might be time to get a new machine
