can anyone point me in the direction of a website where i can find IE 5.0 for Mac? it's the only version of any search engine that enables me to listen live to streaming audio match commentaries my beloved Portsmouth Football (Soccer) Club in the UK.

i know that there are websites which have older versions of a variety of software so i'm hoping that a kind appleinsider will tell me how to find them.

thanx.

Does the current 5.1.7 (for OS 9) or 5.2.3 (for OS X) not work?

Also, are you using Mac OS 9? IE 5.0 was never available for Mac OS X.

On that note, I've found IE 5.0 for Classic Mac OS.

Click here to download (6.9 MB)

    I hope this helps!

I was looking for this too, found it on Microsoft's site, for both Classic and OS X.

    That's not 5.0, though.

    no, 5.1.7 doesn't work.

i'm downloading 5.0 right now. i'll find out if it works okay the next time there's a game i can tune into, which will be on saturday.

i've been told by a fellow portsmouth soccer fan that 5.0 will work in OS 9 whereas 5.1 won't.

i'll let you know after the weekend.

thanx for finding it for me.
