Need to recover thumb drive

I have a Memorex thumb drive, that I have been saving my Master's Project to. I didn't back it up last night, thought I would this morning. Everything saved just fine and I ejected it. This morning when I put it in, it comes up as no name and says there isn't anything on it. I tried to put something on just to see and it said there was no room. Can anyone help me, or is it all gone?

    I have no idea if this will work, but Exif Untrasher will recover pictures from flash media.



    Maybe it'll recover other data as well.

    It's a long shot but try rebooting your computer. I had a different problem with my USB drive that was solved by a reboot.



    You could also try to read it with a different computer.



    I don't know what tool to use but if the data is all there but the directory is just trashed then dumping the whole drive as one file to someplace on your hard drive might give you a chance to recover your data.



    Try contacting some of the drive recovery companies.



    You might also try contacting the manufacturer. They might have some tools to help you.
