Powerbook Spits Out DVD's
Ok guys first thing first. This issue relates to brand new, shop bought DVD's.
It is not a question about pirated or ripped off software.
I have a 12" Powerbook G4, 10.3.3, 867Mhz, 256 RAM.
It has installed a Matshita CD-RW/DVD-ROM, revision BA21, which is the one it shipped with.
Up until a couple of weeks ago (and yes prior to updating to 10.3.3) DVD's played fine. Now all that happens when inserted is it thinks about playing the DVD then spits it out. CD's mount and play OK. It burns CD's fine.
Other users are reporting similar issues on Apple's own discussion pages at: http://discussions.info.apple.com/[email protected] but no fixes as yet.
Anybody any ideas?
