I keep checking the date to see if it's April Fool's Day.
I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.

oh yeah. I will be. fyi: here's the email I'm trying to send (please forgive the nerdishness.):
Hello Dr. Friedrich Bischiner,
I am an American University student majoring in Biology Education, and I have a few questions regarding the following article I recently read that mentions some of your nose picking/health research : http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_903083.html?menu=
Just as children have wonderful and healthy posture when they are very young and lose it due to an array of reasons, perhaps their nose-picking is also evolutionarily natural and health-inducing as you have stated. Before I agree with you, however, I would please like to know: What studies were performed before coming to your intriguing conclusions? Do you have any important research data or statistics (with appropriate significance) you are willing to share as well? Also, have you considered researching the possibility of otolaryngology-related infections or inflammations (such as tonsilitis or allergy-related sinusitis when the body is trying to rid itself of allergens) due to frequent and long-term nose picking? Does this study possibly only apply to certain non-allergy-suffering people?
This is absolutely fascinating to me. Thank you very much for your time. I really appreciate any responses or information you may have.

nose picking/health research :
Didn't the original link say his name was Bischinger - with a "g"?
Also...instead of 'nose-picking', you could use the more polite term "nasal excavation". hahaha. (Just kidding.)

Ooh good catch. Bischinger is right. Thanks
and LOL about the 'nasal excavation' suggestion... reminded me of all the alternate names we had for nose-picking when we were little, like 'digging for gold,' 'gone mining,' 'playing with green goblins,' and such... hehe anyone else wanna add to the grossness?
