hmmm i reently bought a TiBook 550Mhz from eBay(it is my first Mac thus my first love) and i at 14 years old was very soon thereafter(earlier this week) offered a deal that i ship this off to some european country that slips my mind at the moment for a very nice 1100 dollars. but on that same note i am getting a job at a local grocery store which will end up paying me $200 minus taxes so for aobut 170 or so a week. should i take the deal and get a new iBook take the deal and keep my money till i can buy a better Mac or just take the upcoming money from my job to "soup up" my computer... like maxing out its ram and exchanging its 20gig for a 40, 60 or 80.... please help me diecide this is kinda important to me

many thanks,

PS

Keep the computer for yourself and then think it over before offering to sell it next time.

i'm a little confused (its early in the morning), but i think you should sell you tibook for $1100 or whatever the deal was, then save up a few paychecks and you shuld be able to get a decent brand new 15" pbook. like i said, its early, so i'll have to check back later and see if this makes any sense.

Dude... the ibooks are pretty sweet... hrmm I don't know because thats a good deal if they ACTUALLY pay you. Be wary seriously.

I am not offended. But you approached me, offering me to buy it, remember? Next time just make sure you know whether you want to sell it or not...

If you can handle being without a mac for a few months (or maybe shorter, who knows), I'd sell it, save the money from work, and buy an ibook when the next rev comes out.

Then you'll have the money to buy the ibook and get some accessories.
