iMac internal temperature

Out of curiosity, how do I check the internal temperature of my LCD iMac. The cooling fan is temperature activated, so the iMac is measuring the internal temperature already. I just want to know if the iMac will tell me what it is. I'm running OS X 10.1.4. Thanks.

    Have you tried a search on <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com"; target="_blank">VersionTracker</a>? You used to be able to get things for checknig the temperature of laptops etc, so you might be able to find one that works on other machines also. Worth a try.
