Cameras at Car Shows

in General Discussion edited January 2014
They're allowed, right? Houston Auto Show begins TOMORROW!!!!! and I get to go on Saturday as a late birthday present. I plan on bringing my cam along, but will it just be more trouble than it's worth?

I see people taking pictures/videos all the time. Hey, it's not like the cars are a secret anymore.

There should be no problem if you take photos for personal use. However if you want to publish your photos you may need to get a permit or permission from the car owner.

I think you're fine, 100% of the way. I don't think you need to ask anyone permission. You paid for the ticket. That's permission. If there's something they don't want you to see, don't worry, because it's not at the car show.
