zap pram in 9.2.2 not working...

I pressed option+R+command+P and it doesn't work... just restarts like usual. Zapping pram has worked before but I did it last in OS9, never in 9.2.2.

Moving to Genius Bar.
I find this very strange because this is detected and handled by the hardware long before the OS even begins to load. Whether you have Mac OS 8, Mac OS 9, Mac OS 9.2.2, or Mac OS X, it shouldn't matter.
