Is there another way? (pram zap)

Other than pressing option+R+command+P on restart, is there another way to zap the pram?... because its just not working. I've have 4 MAC users try it out and no dice.

You have it the wrong way around. cmd-opt-p-r, not opt-r-cmd-p

While restarting, to return all memory settings to the factory state, you can "Zap the PRAM".
Press and hold Command-Option-P-R until you hear the boot sound of your machine.
Keep held until the fourth boot sound for a full purge.
Release the keys and allow the machine to boot up.
