LOL...read the responses to his blog. This assclown is getting reamed.
Read his thoughts about Apple competing with 3rd party developers. Note the many errors. I do like the guys desktops though check those out. He's got a knack for that.

The guy's got a pic for every occasion.
I love giving a good reaming, thanks for the tip
(straps on spiked nose dildo)
I did use logic though...

Look,
You can?t say on the one hand that Apple is being held back by 3rd party developers and then say Apple is trying to strangle 3rd party developers.
Apple is insuring there is a layer of default applications that cover all of the novice/casual users needs (these are people that would never pay $1000 and tackle the steep pro-level learning curve of the 3rd party apps anyway). Then Apple has a fairly priced mid level and pro level of applications.
There is zero indication that 3rd parties can?t compete so long as they offer compelling and innovative software.
But Apple is not required to be held hostage by 3rd parties either.
?Apple is aggressively trying to break what it considers a dependence on software developers like Microsoft, Adobe, Quark, and others.?
What it CONSIDERS to be a dependence?
You can?t rattle these assertions off:
- ?Microsoft, knowing that Apple couldn't replace Office with any other productivity tool, called Apple's bluff and threatened to simply stop developing Office for the Mac.?
- ?Without productivity tools, business users and a large portion of the creative market would be forced to defect to Windows.?
- ?The delay in Quark releasing on OS X-compatible version of QuarkXPress caused a MAJOR hit to Apple's OS X/G4 sales.?
- ?Single-handedly, Quark cost Apple tens of millions because Quark's development team was lethargic.?
But then say APPLE is going for the jugular against Microsoft Office/etc.
You say ?Without applications like Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and QuarkXPress, OS X, and all of Apple's plans for the future, would be deader than the Commodore 64.? yet APPLE is the one with the hard-line, strangle hold tactics??
Because of Quark (as you say) ?Apple pushed its deadline back for six months, delaying its own business plan of migrating all Mac users to OS X, which pushed back huge plans for iPod, iMusic, and MUCH more.? and you dare say APPLE is strangling 3rd party developers???
How are the major 3rd party developers not strangling/threatening/limiting APPLE is the question.
By the way, Safari is not an integrated browser. Users can simply put it in the trash and delete it. It is Webkit (edit: or is it Webcore?) is integrated and still available for the help system and 3rd party applications to use if they so choose to. And there are many, many more web browsers on the Mac nowadays.
Back up, look at your own argument adn realize that you are using hamfisted logic and wrong in most of your assertions.
A resounding ?so what? is all I am left with after pondering your assessment of Apple building a safety net of default applications for its users.
The thing that gets your goat probably is that they are so good at it you can?t muster the creativity to innovate. It?s nothing to do with marketshare or dominance or funding.
You likely lack talent and vision. Ergo you will no doubt always bitch about Apple.
Continue ad nauseam.

He also has a knack of putting his foot in his mouth too.
Those desktop images aren't his by the way. He got them (or copied them) from someone else.
How can an talentless asshat mullet-head (predominant) Windows user actually get so much work?
/jealousy superseding my rant...sorry.
