How can i see what version of Quicktime i got?

ok my roommate says he installed Quicktime Pro on my mac but can someone tell me how i can go thru the menu and it quicktime tell me that if its the pro version or the standard one?



i need a screen that explicitly says thats its the Pro version

Is this possible?

    did u look at about quicktime yet? maybe its says pro there.

    ya i did it just says version 6.5



    anyone that got the pro version can someone show me where it says its the pro version?

    Only Pro can save movies. See if you have a save option in your file menu.

    Only Pro can do true full screen (not the same as hitting the green button to maximize).

    Open a movie and hit Apple-F. if it fills the screen (no title bar), its Pro.

    And IIRC, the "Get Quicktime Pro" menu option should be gone.



    Simpler yet... with QT Player running, go to Preferences -> Registration

    It will explicitly say if the *cough* registration number is Pro

    dunno how my roommate got it but its cool, the save option is cool.
