When booting my Power Mac G4 running Mac OS X.2, the initial gray screen with the rotating icon comes up, it stays up and rotates for about a minute or two. Then when it is suppose to switch over to the blue screen, it freezes on the gray screen with scrambled lines going across. So i have tried a couple different things to resolve this problem with no luck

1) starting up with command-s and

/sbin/fsck -y

that goes through and does a series of checking, when it begins to repair volume and then stops because with a 'bus error'

2) I have reset the PRAM

3) I have reset-nvram and reset-all

4) I have kept the battery out for about 15 mins and hit the reset button.

Is there anything else that I can do to fix this problem??

Thanks
