    I know right, Apple Computer has been losing the gigabyte race for years...if only they could keep up with Intel's gigabyte processors....

    it cracks me up that some articles from quicken.com talk about the eMac just now getting a Superdrive. I'm pretty sure my 1.5 year old eMac has a Superdrive

    On a related note, the whine of my 60GHz hard drive is intolerable, and it takes 5 weeks to spin up...

    ummmmm.......when did they start measuring clockspeed in bytes, have I been under a rock too long, back in my day it was measured in HZ

    I think it's because the x86 has almost stalled at the 3-4 ghz that they need to make the figure look bigger so they dont feel inadequate
