    New Powerbooks and iBooks



    iBooks 1GHz to 1.2GHz, Superdrive option on the 14 inch



    Powerbooks 1.33GHz to 1.5GHz



    Boadly similar prices to before

    Also, slot loading optical drives on iBook



    Hard drive space increased 60GB on Powerbooks 1.33GHz,

    80GB on Powerbooks 1.5GHz



    and 512MB standard on Powerbooks 1.5GHz



    iBook has 256MB across the range with 30/40GB drives

    Actually, the Ibooks that just got replaced had slot loading drives as well(I got one 2 weeks ago, 14" 933)

    Yep, the whole iBook G4 line had slot loaders from the go. I'm typing this on a (now out-dated ) slot-loading 800mhz 12" iBook G4.
