I was looking through all the fine print on Applecare, and came across an unusual cause of damage:

Look out for God!

Acts of God is included in many "fine print" statements.

Legally speaking - when there is no one else to blame, then blame God.

Act/s of God is extremely common legalese roughly being a catchall phrase for any freakish weather phenomena or geological catastrophe.

    Google examples

Still pretty funny to see it though. hey a tornado bearing down on you can make the concept of an angry God be quite compelling.

If you don't believe in God does this mean you are exempt?

I would think Act of Satan might be a more accurate for those not strictly adhering to the notion of an angry Old Testament God

The ground opening up, swallowing your house and lava spewing onto your car sure sounds more Satanic that Godly to me.

An "Act of Nature" would be more appropriate, I think.

So, anything not an 'Act of Nature' would be an 'Unnatural Act'?

I could use some insurance for that.

An "Act of Nature" sounds like you are pissing on your machine!

Better water proof those macs - my neighbor, some old koot named noah is building a huge yaught-zoo-thing and preaching about a flood of dramatic proportions

I had a warning like that on a pair of headphones once. I thought it was really odd, but I had a good laugh. I haven't seen anything like that in years though, funny stuff.
