Keychain/Safari problem

Keychain seems to work on most sites, but there are several that it refuses to work with, e.g., Charles Schwab and Northwest Airlines. I deleted the previous keychain, repaired the keychain, cleared out the Safari autofill database, and emptied my browser cache. But when I enter my account name and password at these sites, Safari does not present the dialogue box asking me if I want to store this data using autofill. Why not? I've tried to force things by manually entering the data in keychain, but then Safari doesn't seem to do anything with it.

Developers can code a web site so the browser will not remember text field entries. I suspect these sites do that.

It's a good thing that Safari supports this.

I agree, but I think that there is a Safari bug going on here.... I know that there are some sites that I used to get a dialog box/autofill for that no longer do it. I suppose it's possible they've changed their code to prevent it, but I doubt it...

The difference here is probably in Safari itself.

Support for the blocking mechanism wasn't added until Safari version 1.2.1.
