Printer Stopped Working

For some reason, our HP LaserJet 4MP magically stopped working today. I have tried reinstalling the 10.3.3. and still does not want to print. The printer does not come up with any errors so I know it is software related. In the Print Center the printer does not even show up anymore!



When I go into Macintosh HD>Users>Jared>Library>Printers>PPD - It comes up as a folder and it looks like it was once a package.



I have tried doing everything, even fixed permissions, download the Printer Center Repair utility (third party)...



Anyone have any advice?

    Try adding the HP4MP ppd to the /Library/Printers/PPDs folder. It might pay to download the PPD again from HP.



    How is the printer connected? Print Server, USB, Serial?

    If its connected via USB then swap keyboard and printer USB ports.
